The truth is focusing so much on what you are not isn’t helping you much.

For 12 years I wanted to be an entrepreneur. Like you, I had a burning desire to be something better than what I seemed to be. So, why didn’t I move forward sooner in my life to create the reality I desired?

It was excuses. Excuses that we all use to help us create false reasoning for why we aren’t where we want to be.

Back then I thought I had to get a college education, study for years, save tons of money, and have a mentor show me the ropes step-by-step.

This caused me to procrastinate deciding on a business to start, not even save money because I didn’t think I needed to yet, and be afraid to start because I didn’t have someone who knew the ins and outs show me the way.

See, I was so focused on what I didn’t have in order to become a business owner instead of staying present and focusing on the skillsets that would help me accomplish all of that.

Think about it.

You’re told that you should be better every day. Get just 1% better than you were the day before.

With that logic, you consistently move the goal post on yourself towards something else.

Thus never becoming satisfied with the person you are. Because there is always a better person the next day. And when you do this, you’ll procrastinate because you’re not where you want to be yet.

You’ll stay stressed because there is always more to do. Then you’ll be frustrated because you’re not enjoying the journey from a lack of being in the present moment.

But, if you apply a simple shift in focus it will make this journey much easier. In fact, your content creation will be easier, your business will run smoother, and you’ll develop the skillsets you specifically need to increase your financial well-being.

How did I make the switch from a 12-year wantrepreneur to an entrepreneur today?

It’s something that I didn’t realize until recently.

This powerful switch is what helped me become a serial entrepreneur with a higher-paying job. Yes, I even can say that the abilities I used helped me progress higher in my career.
