Why do we lie?

I found the answer sitting in Applebee’s

As I write this I am sitting in an Applebees at the bar.

I finished moving(more like throwing away) everything out of my mom’s house. She passed in January so we had to empty her apartment.

I don’t know if I am mourning, remembering, or what. I just knew I didn’t want to be alone but didn’t want to talk to anyone.
